My debt (3 situations)

Situation 1. Example 2. 

The night was very dark and we could see nothing. Frankly speaking, it was as black as a crow, due to the fact that my friend and I were lost on the street of our hometown. You might not know this, but there are both back and blind alleys as well as wide neon-lit central streets in Chelyabinsk. Actually, we are neither a commercial nor a cultural but an industrial center of the South Ural. For this very reason, we were terrified to meet somebody harmful or even dangerous. So we decided to be as quiet as a mouse. Nevertheless, despite all the risks we got to our neighborhood safely. In addition, we had a talk with a police officer, who wasn't really satisfied with the situation. However, he said that nobody is sure that it was just a darkness, probably there was a smoke. It wasn't even a surprise. Unfortunately, environmental problems such as soil, air and water pollution aren't rare in our region. We'd better be more environmentally friendly. 

Situation 2. Example 1. 

Mike is always as busy as a bee. To be quite honest with you, he is just a multitasker. It's evident enough that multitasking is not the best way to study or work. For sure all students see and feel their experience in their own way. Nevertheless, there are some ways to be more productive, especially when you consider that while multitasking, you can't be conscious enough. That's exactly the problem. Well, first and foremost, Mike should tide up his working place. People with neat offices are more persistent and less frustrated and weary. Secondly, Mike is better planning his day. I would have to say that working without a plan is just useless and exhausting. I wish Mike to be more conscious, I hope that he'll find my pieces of advice useful and wholesome. 

Situation 3. Example 3. 

"Can you hurry up, please?!" - my mum shouted. I know, I'm always as slow as a snail. That's very true. To be more precise, I really can not stand being fast, it just feels like time flies. However, I should always keep in mind to hurry up myself. Actually, this isn't something that I have ever considered doing, but in short, I suppose I need to do it because I don't want to waste a lot of time in detention. To be honest, I can be conscious and quick, I am a deep thinker. Thus, I am easily carried away by any unusual activity or innovative thought. For this very reason, you may actually notice me while I'm staring at one point and thinking for approximately thirty minutes.

         Some people spend their entire life in one place. To be quite honest with you, I can't even imagine how to live without exploring the world or just some new places. There is an enormous amount of holidays you can spend outside of your usual place. 

         Being asked about the exact place of traveling, the first country that comes to my mind is definitely Great Britain. Frankly speaking, England is the best place to celebrate Christmas or spend time during New Year's Eve. The fireworks in London are followed by the London New Year's Day Parade, considered to be the largest New Year parade in the world. A 30-year old tradition, the parade began in 1987 as a way to raise money for local charities. Originally called the Lord Mayor of Westminster's Big Parade, the event was renamed in 1994. Parts of the parade route are only accessible to ticketed viewers.

         Nevertheless, there are some quite useful and wholesome means of transport we may use in case to even moving to other countries. First and foremost, A Hyperloop is a proposed mode of passenger transportation, first used to describe an open-source vactrain design released by a joint team from Tesla and SpaceX. It may sound sort of strange and even a bit crazy, but the Hyperloop could become the most useful transport in the future. We should definitely keep the eye on this Elon Mask's new project! 

         Secondly, The Channel Tunnel is a 50 km rail tunnel, which is being used to shorten the time of transportation. Your underwater journey may end as quickly as it begins because this train is highly mobile and fast. This journey will give you all a yearning for new experiences, and many wonderful memories that you will cherish forever. Be sure to try it one day!

         As we all know, means of transport are required to use an immense amount of resources. However, alternative sources of energy can substitute traditional energy sources with almost no negative effects on the environment. Isn't it insane? For this very reason. people are able to use as many resources as they need, just in case they have some alternative energy appliances. 

         All in all, I'd choose to explore the world without any the least hesitation. Moreover, people have a lot of opportunities to do so. We should always keep in mind that if there is a will, there is a way. Nevertheless, we can always take an imaginary trip, you just need to get a book. Be sure to explore a center of the Earth with Jule Vernes's book!

Module 3 A fair to go Cuckoo about

Module 4 Save the Whales

I really hope that you'll understand such an irony in the video. We should always keep in mind that we are ought to care about the environment and all the species of animal.

All modules in Reported speech

         Ideas worth spreading, especially when you consider that such mature and wise thoughts about modern living or environmental issues may actually change our world. Well, ideas and dreams may sometimes have an incredible and stupendous effect on people's lives.

         For this very reason, classmates and I were given the task to go and share the information. There were five main topics, which we were supposed to unite into the one educational and enlightening speech. There were: environmental issues and nature, modern living, dreams and goals, literature and, finally, health.

         First and foremost, I've shared information about the National Park, called Tsingy Bemaraha. I said that with such a tremendous collection of species under its care, The Madagascan government had set aside about fifty areas of special interest as national parks. Secondly, I told everyone that humpback whales were under the threat of extinction, due to some environmental problems, such as oil pollution or water pollution. Moreover, the information about eco-tourism, signs of the times and the London Marathon was shared. In short, people make choices every day. It really depends on different factors, time, money, ego or feelings are the most obvious ones, but we should always choose for the best. I said that people were the only one, who were responsible to choose to be brave and have a strong will power, to be eco-friendly and to move with the times. 

         In addition, I insisted on reading more books, which, literally, reflect our problems and predict the future. For instance, I told that Baley's boss in the science-fiction book called "The Caves of Steel" was the only one, who believed that we shouldn't stay away from nature. Surprisingly, but history teacher warned me not to become a modern-style addict. It's quite sensible that we need to be in contact with nature and don't let robots into our everyday life. 

         All in all, I said to them that people had been living egotistically for a long time. Anyway, we need remain sensible in any situation.

- Hello, mate! I'm about to visit a bookshop, where Stephen King will present his new book called "The Langoliers"!

-Hey! I have never been keen on any horror stories, but, anyway, can you tell me something about Stephen King's books? I am looking forward to exploring new artist and his masterpiece.

-It's a pleasure. I can say without any the least hesitation that I am fond of his work. Frankly speaking, he is a master of scaring as he is a king of scaring.

-Sounds awesome. What about "The Langoliers"?

-Without a doubt, all readers feel and understand the plot differently. To my mind, the plot as the one about the waste of time. The main idea is unusual and kind of educational. 

- What is the best part of this book?

- The thing I like the most is the number of different characters who differ from one another in their social status, way of thinking, their fears and ambitions. 

- I adore such educational and breathtaking books!

-It's quite evident that it teaches us to value our time and to remain sensible in any situation.

-I'm definitely interested! Can you send me exact information about the visit?

-Sure! See you there, mate!

-Yes, next Tuesday, 2pm. It's the best time to ask him about his workout routine because he works out every Tuesday at his local gym. I've read it in the sports magazine.

Special Event During the Environment Week (p.115, Task 2)

                 You might not know this, but the special event during the Environment Week is being held at the school. Frankly speaking, there are just four options: a clean up the park/beach day, a workshop on how to make homes more environmentally friendly, morning planting plants in the local park, an afternoon collecting money for a local environmental. 

          Actually, I am easily carried away by any unusual activity or something innovative. However, a cleanup day isn't the best choice if we want to attract as many people as we can. Moreover, there is absolutely no chance that we will be capable of doing something like a workshop, especially when you consider that only children are involved. They will probably fail such an intense and intricate task.

          Nevertheless, we still have two fascinating and enlighting ways to organize the event. As we all know: as you sow, you shall mow. Gardening is believed to be one of the most relaxing hobbies, children always get excited about planting flowers like tulips, camomiles or daffodils. Actually, this isn't something I have ever considered but in short, I suppose I would possibly take part in such an event, especially if I were provided with the chance to do this. Without any the least hesitation, I would definitely organize the morning planting plants in the local park. First and foremost, it's easy as ABC so the whole school can be involved. Secondly, plants will make radical changes to our local environment. 

         All in all, I consider it reasonable to say that tasted differ and so many men - so many minds. I am ready to organize each event, but I'd rather fall for planting. 

Modern Living

      First and foremost, I'd rather describe modern life as a century of specialization. Looked at from the standpoint of the social system, the aim of specialization may seem desirable enough. The aim is to see that the responsibilities are given into the hands of the most skilled, best-prepared people. For this reasons, there are an enormous amount of professionals in all spheres of life these days.

        I can't help saying that technology and science developed tremendously. It's basically what makes life modern and unique. Nanotechnology is a real breakthrough, which is being used in medicine. There is even speculation that materials can be developed that will allow machines to repair themselves in much the same way that the human body does. Nevertheless, we should always keep in mind that there are specific barriers, which we need to respect. For instance, there is no doubt, that we need to control robots and don't let them in our personal life. Machines are machines. Those are the thoughts of Baley's boss from the science-fiction book called "Caves of Steel" by Isaac Asimov. It is a soul that makes people be sensible and emotional, we just shouldn't get away from it. 

        So many men, so many minds. Speaking of real modern life, we can't but say that it's necessary to take into account some personal sides of the topic, which have been around for centuries, such as happiness and bravery. To some extent, both happiness, and bravery have changed in the new lifestyle, but the sense has always been the same - caring and sharing. To be more precise, happiness is not about money or fame, being happy means being grateful, accepting and filled with positive emotions. Speaking of bravery, I'd like to illustrate my words and give an example. Professor Leonid Roshan is truly a modern hero, he spent a tremendous amount of time to become a pediatric surgeon. Moreover, He devoted his career to help people and share kindness. 

       Overall, I bet that the majority of people have a positive outlook on the future. We all feel radical changes, and if we stay conscious and sensible, we will build a great and flabbergasting future.

Cinema

      Cinema as a way of entertainment has been around for almost a century. Nevertheless, we should definitely keep in mind that a theatre has always been a source of inspiration for different movies. However, a majority of people would rather choose to watch a movie than to visit a theatre. Moreover, theatre performances take more time, but it's quite interesting to consider that going to the theatre is more entertaining to some extent. 

          In addition, people used to create huge performances and the theatre was such a big deal before television has appeared. Therefore, black-and-white films grabbed the attention of the public as a spectacular movement in the culture. Furthermore, it turned out to be some sort of culture shock and the breakthrough in this sphere of life led to the Golden Age of Cinema. 

          Nowadays, there are not only multiplex cinemas, but modern equipment and innovations like 3D and 4D movies. You might not know this, but a development in the film and movie industry led to high ticket prices for brand-new films, which are not affordable for some people.

          Speaking about acceptance of the film industry. Needless to say that different people prefer different films, especially according to the age of the audience. Moreover, there are no usual preferences, some films just not to everyone's tastes. 

          All in all, film industry is going to develop for a long time. I can't even imagine what kinds of movies we are going to enjoy in the future.
