Picture description

This picture shows a typical day-off of a family of four. It can be seen that everyone is interacting with each other, for instance, a son is excitedly telling his father a story, while his mum is laughing. By the time dad started washing dishes, his daughter had already been prepared for dinner - with a bib. In the background, there is a cat having dinner, meanwhile, a family is just preparing for eating meals. You might guess that they will have ice cream as a dessert, due to the fact that it is a box, which is being put in the fridge by mum.

The atmosphere of the room is incredible, as not only they have an old-fashion family dinner, but they have already bonded as family members! Nevertheless, I strongly believe that if the family eats dinner together, the family stays together, that is a golden rule of healthy relationships. It is being said, even decor with bright colours like red and yellow speaks for them - they're a happy family!  

Comparison

The first picture shows a family member getting ready for dinner. Every one of them is helping in some way - whether washing dishes or just helping make an atmosphere by sharing thoughts and stories. Judging by a typical dinner table in the foreground  (without any fancy decorations or lace tablecloth), I would say they don't celebrate a special occasion. 

In the second picture, there are a bunch of pupils are studying in a classroom. Judging by the globe in the foreground and coloring pencils in the background, I'd say they're having a geography class. All students are quite interested in the topic, as a teacher is so focused on giving information. It's important to mention that they're primary school students.

Both pictures are similar in some ways, in that they both represent actions indoors, and both of them show children having fun. Another thing they have in common is an interaction between children and adults.

As for differences, the first picture shows kids in a relaxed atmosphere, while the second one represents a class, so children are in the middle of studying and they can't be relaxed or funky. Moreover, in the first picture kids are the ones who tell stories, whereas in the second one they're listeners. One more difference is that in the first picture there are only family members, while the second one shows unrelated people together.
